Synopsis: <\/strong><\/p>\n

C\u00c1NDIDA “When the Writer and Her Character Become Roommates”
<\/i><\/strong>Young writer Klara Balzes has just written her first novel, Kandida<\/i>, the story of a homeless woman. Kandida is a fictional character, but she is based on a real person. Klara met that real woman, Manuela, through an organization that supports people facing eviction. In the novel, Klara takes Kandida into her home. In real life, however, Klara lost touch with Manuela forever. On the day the novel is published, Manuela unexpectedly arrives at Klara’s home and asks the young writer to do in real life what she did in her novel: take her in.<\/p>\n

Real lives are not like novels.<\/p>\n
