A generation of future filmmakers have gathered at the Bizkaia Aretoa for the morning screening of the second day of the Homeless Film Festival. Young people from the schools Arxandape Ikastola, Bego\u00f1azpi Ikastola, IES Rekalde BHI, IES Ibarrekolanda BHI, IES Ondarroa BHI have been the protagonists in this morning screening.<\/span><\/p>\n

But before giving way to these future promises, the public has been able to enjoy the short films made in the Bizitegi film workshops, by the users of its day centers. Bizitegi believes in cinema as a vehicle to combat social discrimination, and we must highlight the passion that these users have to create their own stories, stories that have been received with a standing ovation from the public. The short films presented were \u201cUn d\u00eda en la vida\u201d and \u201cMil colores\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

Next, in order to raise awareness among young audiences about the importance of social cinema, a short film made by Ema\u00fas, titled \u201cLa Vuelta\u201d, and directed by Joanes Camara, was screened. Then, before giving way to the finalist short films made in schools, the winning short film of the official section,\u00a0 \u201cTodo va bien\u201d directed by Adri\u00e1n Ord\u00f3\u00f1ez, was screened. The director himself and Hassan, the protagonist of the short film, have come from Malaga to Bizkaia Aretoa to present their work.<\/span><\/p>\n

To close the morning screening, the finalist short films made by ikastolas and schools were screened, specifically at Arxandape Ikastola, Bego\u00f1azpi Ikastola, IES Rekalde BHI, IES Ibarrekolanda BHI, IES Ondarroa BHI. From each center, an award-winning short film has been selected, which has been screened. These have been \u201cZuk bai, nik zergatik ez\u201d by IES Ondarroa BHI, \u201cCambiar de vida\u201d by IES Rekalde BHI, \u201cAldatzeko aukera\u201d by Arxandape Ikastola, \u201cNoelia\u201d by Bego\u00f1azpi Ikastola, and \u201cErrealitate islatua\u201d, by IES Ibarrekolanda IHB.<\/span><\/p>\n
