Homeless Film Festival, through cinema and theatre, brings to the forefront the reality of homeless and socially excluded people. This festival began in 2011 in Manchester (United Kingdom), and since 2016, Bizitegi has organized this festival in Bilbao, constituting cultural days of great interest to citizens about inclusion through the performing arts. By 2025, Bizitegi will hold the 10th edition of the Homeless Film Festival in Bilbao.

The Festival promotes the recording and production of short films and the creation and performance of plays with people in situations of exclusion, in order to empower them and give voice to the different realities in which they find themselves. The Festival combines the screening of short films and the performance of plays about homelessness and social exclusion.
